The charcoal grilling method adds a smoky flavor to the meats, setting The Fire Spot apart from other Korean BBQ joints in the area. The restaurant's focus on quality meat and attention to detail make it a standout choice for those craving authentic Korean BBQ flavors. Be prepared for a wait during peak hours, as the popularity of The Fire Spot speaks to its exceptional dining experience.

I decided to take my parents here and we got the more expensive option. My parents really enjoyed it and liked the quality of the food. I also really liked their dry seasoning that they have. The servers are really attentive and nice. The place is a bit small so there is definitely a wait on weekends.

High quality meats for a VERY affordable price. This is my favorite AYCE KBBQ ever! It's a loud bustling place, service was amazing, banchan was delicious, I really can't think of anything this restaurant didn't do perfectly. Charcoal-based grilling made the meat taste less oily and imbued it with a smokey flavor. Favorite cuts of meat included handcut beef and short rib. This is the perfect spot to go to celebrate something!

1. THIS IS MY #1 RECOMMENDation. I would recommend calling the restaurant about an hour before you want to go and ask them what the wait time is. That why you can gauge when to show up. 2. I went on Yelp to get reminder to join the waitlist, but when the time came, it gave me a Waitlist Update that "Fire Spot just turned off their remote waitlist and to check their page to see the latest status." So I wouldn't rely on Yelp to join waitlist. 3. I called the restaurant to get on a waitlist but you have to be there in person and sign in to be on the waitlist. Once you sign in you get put on the waitlist and your table is ready, they'll alert you to come back at a certain time . 4. I had a party of three. We got there around Saturday 3:30pm and were seated at about 4pm. (if there is a longer wait time, there's other little places around where you could grab a beer in the meantime while you wait ;) 5. Once we were seated, our waiter came over very promptly and served us some water and drinks. From there, we were able to select the meat cuts . We chose the deluxe plan which had all meat cuts. Top favorites were 2, 4, 15, 7 meat selections. 6. The charcoal gave the meat such great flavor, and smelt so great! Everything was so delicious ! I loved how each of us had our own prongs where we could choose whatever meat we want and cook it ourselves. 7. The only one thing that I would mention is that inside is a little bit tiny. My friend chair was so close to the grill and he didn't have much space to move so he was feeling all the heat from the grill ;). Also the parking lot is a little bit tight. I would recommend parking a block or two over .

Great food and seasonings. The meat was all really fresh & better than other places we've tried! Better than your average Korean BBQ

This little AYCE BBQ spot is unique in that it's charcoal grilled instead of the usual gas grills at most KBBQ places. The charcoal grill makes the food taste better in my opinion and tastes different than meat grilled on a regular gas grill. The quality of meat at Firespot is really good for the price. The beef brisket is our go to meat because it's well marbled but not too fatty like other place's beef brisket. The service is phenomenal and quick. They check up on you frequently to ask if you're ready to order more meat. One of the servers is very enthusiastic and nice. The parking is very tough because the parking lot is small and in Convoy. Prepare to circle around a lot or park on the streets.

Wowwwwwwww hands down the best ayce Korean bbq spot I've ever tried!! Price point was seriously cheap for the quality of the food. The prime menu was under 40 pp and the grill was charcoal vs gas which makes the food cook so much faster and taste wayyyyyy better. The side dishes of the cucumber was so different then any other spot I've ever tried. The cheese corn was the best also. I've been trying to come here for months now and finally decided to go in right when they opened so I wouldn't have a 2 hour wait. I cannot wait to go back omg it was so bomb!

In an area inundated with KBBQ, the Fire Spot stood out. The inside is cozy, bustling with the noise of the grills and chatter. Service was spot on, ice cold large refill bottles of water already at the table. This is the perfect, no frills KBBQ. They aren't doing random little sides or sushi, they focus on the meat which is what matters most. The meat selection is great, plenty of choices. Good banchan as well. Personal stand outs were the Galbi and hand cut beef. The orders came out quick, we were never left waiting, always having a rotation of cooking meat and raw waiting at the table. Definitely check this place out, and hit the conveniently located Somi Somi next door right after for a perfect dessert finish.

The fire spot Parking is going to be the hardest part along with the wait time. This is in the same lot as O'Brien, Tap Ex, the taco stand and RakiRaki. The spaces are small and limited. The lots near by usually have someone watching their spots as parking is a premium around this area. Wait times vary but they have a tablet to check in on. Says you can check in via Yelp as well. Not a lot of tables with vent so big parties maybe split up or have a long wait time. Seating can get tight with the limit space they have there. Service was great. They were attentive and got our request quickly. They were able to answer questions we had about the food options.. Water is served disposable plastic cups. The sodas and other drinks are per serving. Lots meat, seafood and vegetable options. Main thing we notice that the meat wasn't frozen. Things tasted fresher and cleaner. Cooking on coals and the grill they have was different experience. Price point is good for the quality of food they have. I'll be coming back here soon. Recommending this place to all my friends and family.

Came here on a Saturday night with 5 friends, definitely show up like an hour before you even think you'll be hungry because the wait is killer and you can only sign up in person on their wait-list. I wouldn't recommend coming in a group bigger than 6, they don't have too much space and you'll want to optimize your time there. They had charcoal grills which added to the feel of the place, and also to the flavor of the meats. Quality of their meats was really good, and their service was super quick! They checked on us regularly refilling our water and sides throughout the meal. We got a selection of everything from brisket, spicy pork belly, and even chicken heart (which this place was surprisingly good for). A little on the pricier side in my opinion, but definitely worth the money. Overall I would recommend this place, and I'll definitely be coming back soon!

For over a decade, I've been loyal to my go-to KBBQ spot, but a packed house led me to try Fire Spot, and wow, what a discovery! They use charcoal to cook the meats, and the flavor difference is undeniable--it's easily the best KBBQ experience in terms of flavor and meat quality. The cuts of meat are top-notch, perfectly prepared, and bursting with flavor thanks to the charcoal grilling. However, it's worth noting that Fire Spot is a small place, so be prepared for a wait during peak times. While the condiments are decent, they pale in comparison to the star of the show: the meats. Overall, if you're a fan of Korean BBQ and haven't tried Fire Spot yet, you're missing out on a true culinary gem. Just be patient during busy hours, because the incredible flavors are well worth the wait.
